Vineyard

Our eleven and one half acre merlot vineyard is on Limerick Lane in the Russian River
Valley appellation bordering on the Chalk Hill region. The climate is a high region one/low region
two, with moderating effects from the Pacific Ocean. The soil is shallow, rocky clay loam with
cemented aggregate sub soils, allowing for excellent drainage and root penetration. Due to
this environment the vines are not excessively vigorous and produce very concentrated fruit. 
Our two acre cabernet sauvignon vineyard is located in the Dry Creek Valley
appellation. It is situated on steep south facing slopes and yields between one and
two tons per acre.
